First Visit Guide

New here? Start here.

We’ve got you covered. A few simple steps to help you prepare for your first visit so you can feel comfortable, confident, and right at home.

01

Choose Your Class

Finding the right class for your first visit is simple. All classes at theHub are multi-level and beginner-friendly, designed to meet you where you are. If you’d like a personalized recommendation based on your current activity level, injuries, or goals, reach out to us at info@embodywellnesshub.com and our team will gladly point you in the right direction.

Great starting points for beginners:

  • Stretch — Our most gentle, low-intensity class. Ideal for relieving tension, managing discomfort, or simply slowing down.
  • Gentle Yoga — A slow-paced practice supported by props (blocks, bolsters, and blankets) to nourish joints and support ease of movement.
  • Yoga Basics — An approachable foundation class designed to build strength, endurance, and body awareness through mindful alignment.

Prepare for Your Visit

A little preparation ensures a relaxed arrival:

  • Arrive Early: Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before class so we can show you around, help you set up, and get you oriented.
  • What to Wear: Comfortable, flexible clothing that moves with you. We practice barefoot inside the studio rooms.
  • What to Bring: A yoga mat, water bottle, and small hand towel. If you don’t have a mat, Manduka mat rentals are available at the front desk for $4.
  • Hydration: Drink plenty of water in the hours leading up to your class.

What to Expect

Every class and teacher brings a unique energy, inviting you to explore movement and stillness in new ways.

  • Listen to Your Body: Move safely and gently. Never push through pain, and feel free to take rests or child’s pose whenever you need.
  • Enjoy the Journey: Give yourself permission to go at your own pace, embrace the practice, and have fun.

Ready when you are.
