About me

Movement has been part of my life since I began martial arts at five years old, and that curiosity continues to shape how I practice and teach. I love exploring the connection between strength, mobility, balance, and control through yoga, functional mobility, Pilates, and kettlebell training. What inspires me most is discovering what our bodies are capable of when we approach movement with curiosity, discipline, and dedication. Through consistent practice and hard work, we can continue building the strength, mobility, and freedom to move well as we age.

As a teacher, I love helping people feel stronger, more confident, and more at home in their bodies. My classes blend thoughtful instruction with playful exploration, encouraging students to challenge themselves while honoring their individual needs. Whether someone is learning the basics or working toward a new skill, my goal is to make movement approachable, meaningful, and joyful and to help them build confidence they can carry into everyday life.

In my class

Expect deep, focused work. Sometimes we don’t even leave the floor, but we work hard. Through strong, active, intentional movement, we explore and build control at the end ranges of our joints, where the challenge often lies in small, precise movements. You’ll receive clear guidance and encouragement to work within your current capacity while developing strength, mobility, and confidence.

Beyond the studio

I’ve been able to do full straddle splits since I was five! There’s even a professional studio photo to prove it: little me in my gi in splits, holding two swords overhead, sporting a bowl cut and a blue bow. A little fierce, a little fancy…some things never change!

About me

Mike discovered yoga as a way to heal from an injury, and throughout the process also found the practice to have a major impact in improving his mental health. His journey inspired him to want to help others discover these life enhancing modalities as well. In his classes you’ll experience dynamic flows that will strengthen both mind and body. He aims to help you find the deepest depths of your range of motion and flexibility. His classes blend breathwork, mindfulness, and meditation balancing the mental and spiritual with the physical practice. Mike’s passion is to assist people in finding what works for them in their personal practices to enhance their health, wellness and longevity.

About me

I found yoga during a dark period of my life. Once I realized it was more than stretching, that it was a spiritual awakening, I was hooked. Through my practice, I began to recognize the trauma I had been holding onto, and experiencing the freedom that came with that awareness was life-changing.

After graduating college, life led me into an opportunity to teach, and from there, my purpose became clearer. I want to help others experience their own awakening and reconnect with themselves.

I believe in promoting peace, love, and connection, and teaching yoga gives me a space to express that. There is something beautiful about people coming together to grow, heal, and experience oneness. Being able to facilitate those experiences is a blessing, and I’m deeply grateful to be part of each person’s journey.

About me

In my late teens, I felt drawn to take on a meditation practice. Over the years, I sought consistency and technique, developing a physical yoga practice that allowed me to embody stillness for greater lengths of time. Coming into my late twenties, meditation has become part of daily life.

I aspire to learn through sharing with community.

About me

As a somatic healer, I have come to deeply understand that movement and music are medicine. My journey with yoga has been one of connection, exploration, and coming home to myself. I fell in love with teaching yoga, and especially Inside Flow, because it beautifully weaves together my passions for movement, music, and the healing power of the body. There is something truly magical about allowing ourselves to be carried by sound, to surrender to the rhythm, and to move beyond the thinking mind and into the feeling body.

For me, it is in these moments of surrender that we begin to drop in and connect with our deepest selves. This is at the heart of why I love teaching: to create a space where we can soften, feel, express, and reconnect through the language of movement and music. My intention is to hold a space where we can let go of expectations, move from within, and experience the beauty of creating and simply being together. To me, Inside Flow is more than a practice; it is an invitation to feel, to connect, and to come alive.

In my class

Expect the unexpected (hehe)! My classes are an invitation to try new things, have fun, and explore your practice with curiosity and an open heart. For me, it’s not about perfection or getting every pose exactly right, it’s about meeting yourself where you are today, setting an intention, and allowing yourself to drop in, feel the music, and become the flow. I invite you to let go of expectations, embrace the experience, and discover what unfolds when movement and music come together. And one more thing you can expect? The music to get LOUD! 🎶

Beyond the studio

I may be guiding you through a yoga flow, but in my head, we’re all starring in our own music video. 😂 Two of my biggest passions, singing (but too bad I can't, yet, or at least not in this current lifetime and #2 to write and direct my own film/documentary.

About me

My love for movement began at a young age through my background in dance, which sparked a lifelong passion for the mind-body connection. With a degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Pre-Physical Therapy and a love for holistic health and wellness, I’ve come to appreciate movement as something that goes beyond physical strength. Alongside teaching Pilates, I work with children in adaptive fitness, helping them explore their abilities, discover joy, and build confidence through movement.

As an instructor, my goal is to create a welcoming, uplifting, and playful space where everyone feels encouraged to move with intention, challenge themselves, and connect with their bodies. I believe movement should feel good, be accessible to every body, and most importantly, be something we enjoy! I love incorporating mindful breathing, fluid movement, and a little bit of fun into my classes. My hope is that you leave feeling stronger, more grounded, and a little more connected to yourself.

About me

In 2002 I was thrown off my horse. Due to the blunt force , my injury left me in coma for a few days. Something kept telling me to do yoga once out of the hospital. Yoga has been proven to be beneficial in my healing journey . This is why I am so passionate about the practice of yoga and meditation. It’s always an honor to be a yoga instructor and remind others how important a single breath is .

About me

During COVID, my job and school turned digital, and I found myself doing a lot more sitting. I sought movement that I would enjoy and could implement daily, and that is when I turned to yoga. Through regular practice, I learned and experienced the many benefits of yoga, previously unknown to me: breathwork, concentration, meditation, and deeper connection to self and others. Today I’m very grateful to teach other practitioners, for it is a gift to serve as facilitator of this holistic practice.

It’s important to me that practitioners can come into this space and feel safety and ownership of their practice. For this reason, I very rarely (almost never) provide hands-on adjustments unless explicitly asked. I also welcome questions and am open to others’ curiosity.

Moving Meditation

Annie

About me

As a professor of psychology at Mount San Antonio College and a teacher of Moving Meditation, I’ve always been fascinated by the connection between mind, body, and emotional well-being.

My classes blend traditional seated meditation with gentle, flowing movements inspired by Ai Chi and Qigong, followed by the freedom and joy of ecstatic dance. We then transition into a restful pose and conclude with five minutes of silent meditation.

My goal is to create a welcoming space where participants can release stress, reconnect with themselves, and experience mindfulness in a way that feels natural, expressive, and joyful. I believe meditation is not simply about stillness, but about discovering presence, freedom, and inner peace through both movement and quiet reflection.

My teaching style is warm, encouraging, and intuitive, with an emphasis on mindful movement and connecting with your body. I invite students to listen to themselves, move at their own pace, and approach their practice with curiosity rather than judgment. My classes offer a balance of movement, breath, and moments of stillness, with room for both laughter and reflection.

Beyond the studio

When I’m not teaching yoga, I’m teaching psychology! I love exploring what makes us human and finding ways to bring more joy, compassion, and mindfulness into everyday life.
